Rufena Dorothy Wilhelmina DeVilbiss, nee Blehm, age 93, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10 Wilmington Place. She was born on June 19, 1922, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to the late Henry and Caroline (Deines) Blehm.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harold DeVilbiss and brother, Harold Blehm.
Rufena is survived by her loving children, Debbie DeVilbiss, Tom (Nancy) DeVilbiss, Ted (Karen) DeVilbiss; four grandchildren, Marcie (Bryan) Stoniecki, Brad DeVilbiss, Cydney (John) Harkness, Grant (Jessica) DeVilbiss; five great-grandchildren, Claire and Abby Harkness, Lincoln DeVilbiss, Rylee and Bennett Stoniecki; brother, Milton (Irene) Blehm; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH 45429. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.. Burial will follow in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens at 2:30 pm.. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Dayton.
