Rudolph Cimprich

CIMPRICH, Rudolph "Rudy", age 86, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years and dancing partner, Joyce Cimprich. They enjoyed the Dancetions and other dance clubs which were held at Kennedy Union and later at Arbor Hall. They also traveled to dance with Big Bands. Both had spent most of their lives dancing. Rudy was an artist, interior decorator, enjoyed playing cards and pool. He served in World War II in the light tank division #6 in Germany. He was also a member of the VFW Post 9927, where they had many friends and enjoyed dancing to the different bands. He is preceded in death by his parents, Veronica and Francis Cimprich; brothers, Paul, Al, Steve, Joe, and Carl, and sisters, Annie and Pauline. He is survived by his sister, Josie Johnson and brother, Vince. He attended St. Joseph Church. Thanks to the staffs of the VA Medical Center, Elmcreek Nursing Home, and Acclaim Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
