SHELDON, Ruby M., age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 2, 2005, at the Kettering Memorial Hospital.
She is born the daughter of Elmer & Virginia (Strader) Winget on Nov. 1, 1923 in Columbus, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Edward Winget and sister Ruth Winget.
She married Newman Sheldon August 2, 1946. She is survived by her husband, Newman, daughter Lois (Terry) Vollmer, son, David (Jenifer) Sheldon, sister, Deloris Chenoweth of Arizona, five grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Evan, Brenna and Jane, nephew, Norman Chenoweth, and many other friends and family.
Ruby was a deicated wife, mother, friend and Christian. She was a member of the Vandalia Church of Nazarene, involved in MOPS, served with husband for 59 years in ministry.
Services will be 10:00AM held Wednesday Apr. 6, 2005 at the Parkview Church of Nazarene,4701 Far Hills Rd. Pastor Daniel Burris and Dr. Hansen officiating. Family will recieve friends 5-8PM Tuesday Apr. 5, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday Apr. 6, 2005 at the Springfield Cemetery in Reily Township.
