Ruby Patterson

PATTERSON, Ruby Frances "Fannie" age 76 of Miamisburg departed this life surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Knox County, KY on February 25, 1934 to the late John and Lillian Ross. Preceding her in death is her husband, John (J.M.) Patterson; parents, John and Lillian Ross; 5 brothers, Wesley, Willie, Robert, George, and Frank Ross; 2 sisters, Shirley Ross and Mary Smith; special aunt, Lula Perry, and one great-grandson, Rowan Hastings.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Karen (John) Fischer of Miamisburg and Sharon (Greg) Rickey of Germantown; 4 grandchildren, Michelle (Bryan) Hastings of Mason, Jena Rickey of West Carrollton, and Megan and Matthew Fischer of Miamisburg; 2 great granddaughters, Olivia and Penny Hastings; sister, Beatrice Mooneyham and brother, Alex Ross of Knox County, KY; 2 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill (Janet) Patterson of Miamisburg and Kenneth (Rita) Patterson of Newark, OH. Many other nieces, nephews, friends, and family are left to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Far Hills Community Church, 5800 Clyo Rd. Interment will be on Friday at the Patterson Cemetery in Heidrick, Kentucky.
