Ruby Pauline Moan, age 90 of Dayton, OH, formerly of Mountain Home, AR passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Grafton Oaks Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was born on August 11, 1927 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
She retired from Ohio Bell in 1982 with 35 years of service. In 1983 James and Ruby relocated to their "little piece of heaven" in Mountain Home, AR where they enjoyed many wonderful years together. Ruby excelled at many hobbies such as cooking, baking, sewing, crochet and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Brockman, her husband of 49 1/2 years, James Robert Moan and daughter, Ruby Modras.
Ruby is survived by her son, William Moan; grandchildren, Cheri Moan, Wesley (Stephanie) Moan, Andrew (Katie) Modras, Ashley Modras, Danny Modras, Abigail (Daniel) Buck, Aaron Modras, Rachel Modras, Nicholas Kinney, Brittany Kinney; great grandchildren, Trent Moan, Shelby Boyd, Tristan Moan, Amelia, Austin, & Adell Buck, Shiloh Modras, Noah & Mason Kinney, Sophia Kinney; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
