Ruby Mcghee

Ruby Dell McGhee, age 65 of Dayton, passed away August 6, 2012. She was born July 3, 1947 in Paducah, KY. She was preceded in death by her birth parents: Thomas and Vera Glisson and her adoptive parents: Archie and Elizabeth "Betty" Emerson.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Ronnie McGhee; children: Angela Griggs, Mike (Marsha) Forrester and Rhonda Jo (Jason) Madewell; step-children: DeWayne McGhee, Deborah McGhee and Darren McGhee; grandchildren: Amber, Bud (Haley), Kelly, Haley and Joshua; one great grandson, Jordan; several step-grandchildren; siblings: Jimmy Riley, Betty Matheny, James Riley, Sue Wallace, Wayne Glisson, Charles Glisson, Patricia Greenup and Roy Glisson; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
