Ruby M. Silva

Silva, Ruby M., age 84, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009. She was born November 1, 1924 in Tobasco, Colorado, the daughter of the late Antonio and Reina (Montoya) Solis. She is survived by four daughters, Michele (David) Arredondo of Lorain, OH, Marta Silva of Riverside, OH, Monica (Brian) Stucke of Beavercreek, OH, and Maureen (Kenny Allen) Silva of Golden, CO; grandchildren, Amalia, Emily, Eliana, Elyssa, Christopher, Taylor, and Lauren; brothers and sisters, Danny, Louie, Lita, Abe, Eloy, Joe, Jimmy, and Josie. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Silva; one son, Mark Silva; brothers and sisters, Susan, Art, Tony, Clarence, and Dolores. Ruby enjoyed quilting, puzzles, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Beavercreek, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
