Ruby Irean Lawson

Ruby Irean Lawson, age 80, of Dayton, went peacefully in her sleep to be with the Lord on Saturday,
August 26, 2017. Ruby was born on July 1, 1937 in Gadston, Alabama to the late Amos A. Crabtree & Mary D. Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Howard L. Lawson; daughter, Donna Leiwig; grandson, David Lee Anderson; sisters, Bessie Wilson and Altie Ann (Jim) Eagle; brother, James Joseph; and niece, Linda McIntire.
Ruby is survived by her sister, Emma Lee Baker; children, Vanessa Stone, Kimberly Hays, Dan Alan (Brenda) Leiwig, Beverly Coker, Alan Leonard (Bonnie) Lawson; numerous grandchildren, Tiffany Davis, James Davis, Don Mock, Kelly Cox; great-grandchildren; niece, Teresa Walsworth; nephews, Bob Eagle, Dusty, Shane and Brian McIntire and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 9-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Ruby will be laid to rest next to her husband, Howard, at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
