Ruby Isham

Isham, Ruby, 85, of Dayton, passed away March 1, 2017.

She was born April 25, 1931 in Many, LA to the late Joseph and Angeline (Malmay) Ebarb. Ruby enjoyed quilting and was also an avid reader. She loved gardening, and raised and preserved much of her family's food. Ruby also enjoyed flower gardening and card games. In her younger years she was an avid bowler and bowled on a league. Most of all Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family and planning family events.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Ralph Isham, Sr, 2 brothers, Charlie and Glenn, and 2 sisters, Elizabeth and JoAnn. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Anna(Robert) Naff; her son, Ralph Isham Jr ; 5 grandchildren, Nikolas, Joshua, Timmy, Annalisa, and Elijah; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Colston and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:30pm Monday, March 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd where funeral service will follow at 1:30pm. Burial at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
