Ruby Rose Carpenter

CARPENTER, Ruby Rose, age 94, of Miamisburg, OH, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Sylvester Carpenter, her parents, John Luther and Grace Phillips, her grandson, Nicholas Carpenter, as well as 6 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her brother, Albert (Gladys) Phillips and sister Pat (Keith) Kincer, her 4 children, Dale (Ginny) Carpenter, Carol Carpenter-Rogers and husband Randy, Jeff Carpenter and Doug (Rachel) Carpenter, grandchildren, Matt Carpenter, Chad (Cathey) Carpenter, Anthony (Kelley) Bentley, Brande (Doc) Wieland, Mandi (Jack) Boyer, Randi Jo Rogers and Collin Beverly, Angela, Tyler, Dylan and Connor Carpenter, Rachel (Matthew) Van Winkle, Douglas John Doc (Courtney) Carpenter and Eli Carpenter, and 23 great-grandchildren, all who loved her very much!

Ruby enjoyed canning, sewing, cooking, gardening, and loving on her grandchildren. She was a devout member of Dryden Road Pentecostal Church.

Family will receive guests Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 PM at Dryden Road Pentecostal Church (3201 Dryden Rd. Dayton, OH 45439). Funeral services will be from 12 pm to 1 pm. Ruby will be laid to rest at Hillgrove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Day City Hospice.
