Ruby E. Carollo, age 82 of Kettering, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born January 26, 1935 in Lyburn, West Virginia the daughter of Harry and Willa Lawson.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Carollo; son, Gary Adkins; and 3 siblings, Robert, Betty and Charles.
Ruby is survived by her two daughters, Linda (Bill) Anthony, Judith (Paul) Sellers; three sons, Michael Adkins, Edward (Sheila) Adkins, David Adkins; daughter-in-law, Barbara Adkins; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Reich, Gary Adkins, II, Nicholle Adkins, William Anthony, Benjamin Adkins, Tyler Sellers, Matthew Sellers, David Adkins, II; 6 great grandchildren; three sisters, Wanda Hildebran, Diana (Gifford) Maynor, Brenda (Butch) Stump; brother, Harry Lawson; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Ruby retired from Chrysler after 10 years of service.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery.
