Roy W. "Bill" Wade, age 75, of Springboro, passed away at Christ Hospital, September 3, 2011.
He was born September 21, 1935 in Franklin, OH to Elizabeth & Glenn Wade.
He served in the Army in Fort Hauchuca, Arizona. He worked for Old Colony Dayton Envelope for 30 years, a graduate of Springboro High School class of 1954.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sue (Poff) Wade of 53 years; son Jeffrey Ray of Springboro; granddaughter, Lacey Ann of Kettering; grandson, Zachary Kaleb (Heather) of Carlisle; grandson, Luke Andrew of Springboro; great-grandson, Trent Michael; sisters, Dorothy Logan & Betty Hough of Springboro, Ruth Ann (Shorty) Zech of West Carrollton; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Rodney Darin in 2001; sisters, Glenna Lahman of Springboro, Eileen Urschel of Maryland, Donna Mae Wade of Franklin; brothers, Richard, Ralph, Raymond all of Springboro and Robert of New Lebanon.
A graveside service will be held TBD at Springboro Cemetery with Rev. Delbert Dawes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel.
