Roy G. Wells, age 80, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023. He was born on June 6, 1943 in Wise County, VA.
Roy was a member of Vandalia Nazarene Church. He loved hiking, golf, attending festivals and car shows. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Zola and William Wells; his 5 siblings, Bill, Ralph, Beulah, Ann, Linda Sue and his aunt Louise.
He is survived by his wife, Violet Wells; his 2 children, Leslie and Tim (Cheri); his 3 grandchildren, Jason, Autumn, Garriet and 1 great-grandson, Elijah. He is also survived by his 3 siblings, Ronnie (Fawn), Jean and Judy and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Roy will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
