Roy Edward Isaac, age 56, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 7:32 PM. He was born March 16th, 1967 in Louisa, KY. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Kelly (Taylor) Isaac, his sisters Mary M. Isaac and Louttie J. (Isaac) Scott.
He is survived by his three sisters Jenny (Mike) Hicks, Dianna "Dolly" (Bob Riley) Isaac, and Laura Isaac; four brothers Marty (Tiesha) Isaac, Joey (Phyllis Reese) Isaac, Matt Isaac and Mark Isaac; one stepdaughter Chrissy Carl; a care giver he greatly appreciated who was his niece Marla Isaac.
He was exceptionally close to his uncle and aunt Elmer and Danielle Isaac, who he referred to as his Dad and Mom. Also, Ray Isaac and Tonya Werling, who he referred to as his brother and sister. Roy had a really big family with many nieces and nephews. Also, he had lots of close friends who he loved dearly.
Roy worked in construction doing plastering for many years. He also worked as a bouncer at Ziggys and multiple other clubs. Roy would go above and beyond to help others even if he had to walk miles to do it. Anyone who knew him can say he loved to make them laugh by crowing like a rooster, making cat and cricket sounds, or scaring them with his famous dog bark. He always had so many funny sayings, like "What the Homer," "Tator Tots," "Hello Fluffy," "Kiss my lawnmower," "Don't be Mad" and "It's all Gooder."
There was never a dull moment when Roy was around.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 9 to 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home at 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45439. A funeral service will take place at 11 AM following visitation, officiated by Pastor Jim Web. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Main St, West Carrollton, Ohio 45449.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with services.
Roy's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
