Roy H. Tibbs

Roy H. Tibbs, age 78, of Kettering, passed away Monday, January 12, 2009. Roy served his county in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from GM after 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Martha and sisters Neomia and Liz. Roy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy; children Kenneth, Michael, Douglas, Christopher; sisters Devonia, Geneva and Joann; brother Willie; sisters-in-law Daisy and Minnie; brother-in-law Carl; numerous nieces; nephews; and many other friends and relatives. Roy was a faithful member of Eastview Church of God, where the family will receive friends Wednesday January 21, 2009 from 5-8pm. Services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 12:30am at the church. Interment will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
