Roxanne R. Ponczek, age 68, of Fairborn, passed away on September 13, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on December 23, 1953, the daughter of the late James and Barbara Prows.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Walter J. Ponczek; her beloved children, Michael (Annie) Ponczek and Michelle (Daniel Payne) Scarberry; grandchildren, Lauren, Austin, Kaylie, Dylan, Jazmyne and Jocelyne; great grandchildren, Landen, Hailey, Paisley, Bentley and Beckett; siblings, Tom, Carol, George, Jennifer, Jeff and Linda; and many other loving family and friends.
In her free time, she enjoyed working on puzzles, ceramics and spending time with those she loved. Roxanne was a very loving, supportive soul, who went above and beyond for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 2:00pm-3:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. A Memorial Service to celebrate Roxanne's life will begin at 3:00pm, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4540 Cooper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242.
