Ross Parton

PARTON, Ross, age 73, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. Ross is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Lona; sons, Jack (Sabrina), Joel (Kim), Jerry (Julie), John, Billy (Melissa); daughters, Evella (Jim), Yvonne (Dino), Cheryl (Jon), Suzanna (Jim), Cynthia (Randy); brothers, Clyde (Shirley), Manuel Jr. (Thelma); sister, Gennetta (Jack), and 23 grandchildren. Ross loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to 2 very special doctors, Dr. Tarek Sabagh and Dr. Randall Fulchiero for all their compassion and care over the past 14 months. The family would also like to thank the staff of Hospice of Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Pastor Jim Sweigart officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
