Rosetta Pruett Carroll Hammond, age 76 of West Carrollton, passed away January 10, 2015. She was born May 5, 1938 in Greenfield, IN to the late John Pruett and Beulah Spriggs. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Philip E. Hammond; son, Mark Alan Carroll; former husband, Herbert Ray Carroll; and daughter-in-law, Janis Prince.
Rose is survived by her children: Neil (Tammy) Carroll, Janice Carroll-Monigold and Todd (September) Carroll; 6 grandchildren: Shannon Carroll, Janese Gould, Jesse Carroll, Dustin Carroll, Connor Carroll and Cody Meek; 6 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Andrea Hanke and Julie (Jeff) Scalf; and by her two beloved dogs: Levi and Lexi.
Rose enjoyed fishing and bowling.
At her request, there will be no service. Contributions may be made in Rose's memory to any Cancer Foundation of your choice. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
