Rosetta Bennett

March 20, 1946 — December 28, 2022

Rosetta Bennett (Arnold) age 76 of Medway, was carried to heaven on the wings of an angel December 28, 2022.
Rosetta was born in Drift, Kentucky to the late Harry "Shorty" and Molly Arnold. She worked many years and extremely hard to raise and support her two daughters as a waitress at Annarino's Supper Club in Dayton. Later in life she became and retired as a Hazmat Specialist at Emery Worldwide Freight. Rosetta was a spoiler of her grandkids; Christmas was her favorite time of year and I know she secretly took pleasure in buying too many noisy toys to send home. She loved Spring and gardening, she would grow tomatoes and white half runner green beans, "the only bean worth growing". She would string them up to dry and make "shucky beans" with cornbread on Thanksgiving. She was an avid reader and book lover; she always had a book that she was reading and each one became a piece of her. She loved sunflowers, snow, pineapple upside-down cake, Michele's mashed potatoes and her two dogs Molly and Abby.
Rosetta is survived by her loving husband, James Bennett; daughters, Michele (Jeff) Mustar and Nicole Seibert; three grandkids, self-proclaimed favorite and only grandson Adam Francis, runner-up's Hayley Seibert, and Morgan Morgan-Seibert; great-grandkids, Melony, Connor and Hudson; sister Shirley Parsons; many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sisters; Ocie Lewis, Perlie Jackson, Ruby Wells, JoAnn Olah and half-sister Lavinia Bolen. Six half-brothers preceded her in death as well, Raymond, Bun, Mason, Howard, Grant, and Jeff Arnold.

Everyone who remembers Rosetta is asked to celebrate her life in their own way.

A private celebration will be held in lieu of a service and Rosetta's ashes will become a memorial tree where she will live on forever, or until we need the wood for a bonfire…joking of course.
