MATTHEWS, Rosemary, age 81 passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Greene Oaks Nursing Home in Xenia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Minnie Hart; husband, Howard Matthews; daughter, Patricia Hawes; and son Robert E. Matthews.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Jay) Breckenridge; grandchildren, Melissa, Charles, Michael, Elizabeth, Amanda, and Andy; great grandchildren, Sydney and Mackenzie; daughter-in-law, Geraldine "Dean" Matthews; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Liberty Worship Center in Xenia. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 21, 2011 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.
