Rosemary Lacy was born October 12, 1937 in Lockland, OH and died August 5, 2017, she was 80 years old.

Rosemary was the daughter of William McKinley Morton and Reva Bell Keaton Morton and leaves two living sisters, Juanita Prater of Reading, OH and Donna Faye Castle of Kettering, OH; and two living brothers, Russell Morton of Columbus, OH and Paul Morton of Tampa, FL.

Rosemary was married to her husband Lawrence Grey Lacy in September 1953 and to this union four children were born; Mary Gwendolyn (Danny K.) Voiles of Springboro, OH, Lawrence Grey (Pam Duncan) Lacy Jr. of Beavercreek, OH, Phillip Wayne (Kathleen Garvey) Lacy of Beavercreek, OH and Paul Wade (Patty Garvey) Lacy of Beavercreek, OH. Rosemary had five grandchildren, Nikisha Dawn Hughes, Brandy Michelle King, Monique Danielle Gustafson, Dustin Lacy and Ashley Michelle Lacy; and four great grandchildren, Meghan Danielle Gustafson, Eian Michael Gustafson, Samuel Grey King and Elizabeth Catherine Lacy. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; grandson Lawrence Amos Lacy; five sisters, Gladys Morton, Ruth Gallagher, Joann Brown, Sandra Hazard and Jean Greenly; and three brothers, Roscoe, Bobby and Jay Morton.

Rosemary will be sorely missed by all that knew her, she was full of life and loved her family. She was a member of Wells Hills Baptist Church in West Liberty, Kentucky. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Thomas Bruggeman for the care and companionship he has given Rose throughout the last 27 years. Never a day went by without hearing from her, but she is home now safe in the hands of our Almighty Lord.

Visitation for Rosemary will be held on August 10, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon, at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Valley View Memory Gardens, Xenia, OH. Memorial contributions are requested to the charity of the donor's choice in Rosemary's memory.
