Rosemary Krein, age 94, of Washington Township, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013.
She was born August 20, 1918 in Upland, IN. to the Late Fred and Nellie Thomas. She retired and lived in Sarasota, FL. for 35 years, then returned to Dayton in 2005.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Krein; sister, Evelyn Vales; and brother John Thomas.
She is survived by her children, Susan (Bob) Gault, of Washington Township, Joyce Hinders and Janice (Tony) Raffa, of Atlanta; grandchildren, Jody (Scott Clark) Fecher, of Miami Township, Joseph (Mollie) Nelson, of Beavercreek and John (Kathlyn) Raffa, of Atlanta; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; brother-in-law; Frank (Bev) Krein, of Lakewood Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Special thanks to her niece and nephew, Robbi and Bill Kozuh; friend and caregiver, Linda Ruddy; special neighbor, Bob Hooper; nurse, Melanie Bailey; and doctors, Roger Griffin and Mukul Chandra.
There will be a memorial service held at the Chapel in Calvary cemetery on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends a half hour before the service.
To mom, grandma, great-grandma and wife we will toast a martini to your love of life.
