Rosemary Harrison

Rosemary Harrison, loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend, age 90 of Dayton, passed away on November 13, 2019. She was born July 27, 1929 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville E Harrison on 9-13-69; father, William P. Skaggs; mother, Sylvia Tudor; step-mother, Ruby Skaggs; sisters: Barbara Wilcox, Betty, Kathy and Virginia Skaggs; brother, Estel Skaggs; granddaughter, Sherena Richter; grandson, Darrell (Mary) Clinard, Jr.

Rosemary is survived by her children: Tamara (Richard) Lesley, Vicki Richter (Mark Henderson), Beth (Rodney) Shade, Steven Harrison, Faith (Bill) Lilly; special daughter-in-law, Michele Harrison; grandchildren: Stacey, Rachel (Erick), Rachel (Lee), Bradley (Teresa), Rodney (Michelle) Jr, Priscilla (Randy), Lori (John) April and Elizabeth; Kristina (Giannni), Lisa, Jason (Kelly), B.J. (Nikki) and Meghan (A.J.); siblings: very special brother, Lou Skaggs (Ann), David (Marilyn) Skaggs, Elaine (Robert) Long, Keith (Brenda) Skaggs, Kenny Skaggs, Maxine (Dan) Belcher, Nancy (Dale) Rhodes, Wayne (Diana) Skaggs and Joy (Bryan) Martin. Rosemary is also survived by many great and great-great-grandchildren who were so precious to her, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends whom she thought the world of.

Rosemary was the mother of five, lived 90 years 3 months and 17 days, and retired from General Motors. She lived her life centered around Jesus and her children, she loved and gave of herself as long as she lived.

Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, North Dixie Drive. Contributions may be made in Rosemary's memory to the Hospice of Dayton.
