Roselyn Jane Truesdale, a spirited and feisty soul, passed away on November 1, 2024, in her hometown of Dayton, Ohio. Born on February 9, 1927, Roselyn lived a life characterized by strength, resilience, and a deep commitment to her family and community.
During her career, Roselyn made her mark at the White Tower Restaurant, where she skillfully took on every role that was needed. Her dedication to her profession exemplified her strong work ethic and determination.
Roselyn was the beloved daughter of Herman and Fay Lampe, and the cherished wife of Edward Truesdale. She was also preceded in death by her sons Russell Truesdale, Rickey Truesdale, and Keith Truesdale, as well as grandsons Russell Truesdale and Tim Truesdale. Roselyn was one of five sisters, remembered lovingly alongside Virginia, Evelyn, Doris, and Arlene.
A devoted mother, Roselyn is survived by her son, David Truesdale and her beloved dog, Little Bit. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: David Edward Truesdale, Patricia (Chuck) Wagner, Michael Truesdale, Rickey Truesdale, Keith Truesdale II, and Christy (Shedrick "Rocky") Johnson. She was also a proud grandmother to numerous great-grandchildren who will carry forward her memory.
Roselyn's life was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering spirit, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends who held her dear.
