Roselyn Heimerl

Roselyn Heimerl, age 86, formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at The Willows of Tiffin. She was born June 12, 1936 in Hyden, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Sam and Jailey Sizemore.
Roselyn enjoyed gardening, but most dear to her heart was spending time with and initiating family gatherings. She will be remembered as being the laughter of the party.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Bud Sizemore and Ben Sizemore; 5 sisters, Marie Osborne, Leona Lewis, Opal Sizemore, Bernice Combs and Thelma Young.
Roselyn is survived by her 2 daughters, Victoria (David) Tooley and Kim Heimerl; grandchildren, Jeremy Johns and Dana Johns Granata; great grandchildren, Josie and Isabella Granata and Christian and Cooper Johns and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Roselyn's honor as she dearly loved children.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Roselyn will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens following the service.
