Thornhill, Rosella Iona (Lacey)

Age 85 of Kettering, OH passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Sterling House of Dayton. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Edward F. Thornhill, her daughter Beverly R. Reno (Douglas) and son Edward W. Thornhill (Roberta) both of Centerville, OH, and her sister Leoti (Bill) Edwards. Rose leaves behind four grandchildren, Kelley Culley (Sean), Heather Reno, Laura Thornhill, and Jeffrey Thornhill. Rose was preceded in death by her brother Forest Lacey and sister, Helen Mullins. Rose was a very generous and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Joe Redman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until time of services at 3:00 P.M. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Rosella.
