Rose E. Knotts, age 92, of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Mossy Hoskins; husband of 57 years, Rufus Knotts; son, Larry Wayne Morgan; sisters, Hallie Quarles and Lola Mae Gilbert; brother, James Hoskins; brothers-in-law, Calvin Montgomery, Ace Gilbert, Jack Whited, and Gertis Quarles; and sister-is-laws, Donna Hoskins .
She is survived by her daughter, Doris & her husband, Stephen Todd; son, Bill & his wife, Susie Knotts; 6 grandchildren, Steven (Shannon) Todd, Jason (Joan) Todd, Jeanine Williamson, Billy Knotts, Mandy (Jason) Evans and Brian Knotts; Brothers, Cecil Hoskins and Thomas (Rose Lee) Hoskins; sisters, Evelyn Montgomery and Marcel Whited; sister-in-law, Judy Hoskins, 17 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Rose retired from Standard Oil after 20 years of service. She was a member of Way of the Cross Church for 52 years. Rose will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10 am – 12 pm at Way of the Cross Church, 612 Beatrice Drive, Riverside, OH 45404. The service will follow at 12 pm, with Pastors William Loudermilk and Steven Todd officiating.
Rose will be laid to rest next to her husband at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rose's memory to the Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
