Rose Ann Engler, age 89, of Kettering, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 29, 2018.
She was born in Cincinnati on June 18, 1929 to the late Fredrick Karl & Magdalen (Seibert) Engler.
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Fredrick R. Engler and brother-in-law, James Gustin.
Rose Ann is survived by her brother, Fredrick E. (Lois) Engler; sisters, Mary Eleanor Gustin and Marguerite Cowens; nieces and nephews, Marian, Theresa, Michael, Gregory, Regina, Ricky, Jimmy, Paul, Mark and Joe.
Rose Ann graduated from Mount St. Joseph University, was a prior member of the Sisters of Charity and a school teacher for over 40 years. She taught locally at St. Albert the Great, St. Charles Borromeo and Ankeney Middle School. She was an avid lover of animals, caring for birds, cats and dogs throughout her life.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at noon at St. Albert the Great, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, OH 45429.
