Roscoe Napier, 98, of Springboro, passed away peacefully and flew into the arms of his Lord surrounded by family on June 12, 2022 at The Enclave of Springboro. He was born on December 27, 1923 to Joe and Lucy (nee: Morgan) Napier in Marcum, KY.
Roscoe was a WWII Navy veteran. He served his country proudly as a Seaman 1st Class. After his military service, he married the love of his life Irene (nee: Sizemore) Napier in Manchester, KY on October 4th, 1949.
Roscoe worked at General Motors for 33 years and was retired for 42 years. He also painted many houses in the Dayton area. He performed many church services at nursing homes and bowled regularly up until he was 90. He accepted Christ over 50 years ago and worked for the Lord in many churches in the Dayton area.
Roscoe is survived by his wife, Irene; two sons, Joe David Napier and Wayne Napier; one daughter, Nancy Tobias; one granddaughter, Kimberly Lowery; one grandson, Zachary Vest; and two great-grandchildren, Lyric Lowery and Rowan VanHoose.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lucy Napier.
Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 with services immediately following, all at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Centerville, Ohio.
Internment will take place in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
