Roscoe "Ben" Hines, age 84, of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Ben was born October 11, 1927 in Mt. Vernon, KY, to the late Ernest & Mary Lee Hines.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Hines; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Ben is survived by his children, Mamie (Monroe) Payne, Zane Hines, Melinda (Aaron) Osborne, Glenda Hines, Marty Hines, Roxie Foster, and Ricky Kirby all of Dayton; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne (Sue) and Danny Hines, both of KY; sisters, Vivian Bussell, Lena Adams, and Patsy (Arvel) Kirby, all of KY; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
