Rosa N. Pharris "Bug", 75, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 after an extended illness.
She was born February 9, 1939 in Gainesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John and Sallie (Stafford) Horner.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Walter E. Pharris.
Rosa is survived by her three Daughters, Kathy (Tom) Ramey, Susan (Stephen) Jacobs, Misty (Ricky) Boyd; Brothers, Lawrence and Dannie Horner; 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren; numerous Nieces, Nephews, extended Family and many good Friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday, May 16, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, May 17, 2014 with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating.
Burial in Willow View Cemetery.
