Rony Lohse of Bellbrook, Ohio passed away on January 24, 2023. Rony was born in Brandywine, West Virginia to Charles Wilson Bolton and Freda Bolton nee Johnston.
Rony is survived by her husband of 58 years Robert Lohse of Bellbrook and daughters, Cheryl Winters (Gary) of Bellbrook and Brenda Lampl (Mike) of Lebanon, Ohio, as well as foster daughters, Teresa Barrett of Brookville, Florida and Debbie Christman of Lebanon, Ohio. Rony is also survived by two brothers, Charles Wilson Bolton Jr. (Carrie) of Dayton, Virginia and Johnny Bolton of Harrisonburg, Virginia and three sisters, Elizabeth Bodkin (Mickey) of Brandywine, West Virginia, Linda Sumner of Greencastle, Pennsylvania and Marie Simmons (Mike) of Sugar Grove, West Virginia. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Christy Winters of Centerville, Ohio, Michael Lampl (Cyndi) of Buffalo, New York and Daniel Lampl (Katie) of Cumming, Georgia as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rony graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, West Virginia, Shephard College in Shephardstown, West Virginia and fromWright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Rony was a long-time educator and taught high school Home Economics for 35 years in Green Bank, West Virginia, Seaman North Adams, Ohio and Bellbrook Sugarcreek Schools in Bellbrook, Ohio.
Rony loved reading, cooking and sewing and made many of her own dresses. She and her husband, Bob, enjoyed camping and hiking in the Great Smokey Mountains and our many trips to those beautiful West Virginia mountains to visit family. Rony was a kind and gentle person and her family was very important to her. She especially enjoyed those Bolton family reunions in September in Brandywine and Christmastime when she would make those delicious Christmas feasts with family. Rony will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her and she has left us with a lifetime of memories.
