Ronnie "Ron" Nelson, age 75 passed away at Heartland of Miamisburg on January 22, 2018. Preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. Sister Connie and Brother Donnie. Survived by his wife and soulmate of 56 years, Jeanne, three children, Scott (Lisa), Michael (Laura) and Becky Harple (Tom), Seven grandchildren, Aunt Ida Hundley, Special cousin Imogene Foster and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. Four brothers in law and two sisters in law. Many dear friends, especially the Abrams and Baranowsky's.
Retired from General Motors after almost 30 years of service. Lived most of his life in Cincinnati. Came to Dayton area as a transfer by G.M. in 1990.
Ron had a great sense of humor and was known for his one liners.
Ron was an avid sports fan, "anything with a ball". He especially loved the Cincinnati Reds and U.C Bearcats basketball since the early 1960's.
He spent many years coaching youth league sports and working with youth thru Scouts, church and Christian supported groups.
