Rondal Gene Grant

Rondal Gene "Big Daddy" Grant, age 69, of Dayton, passed away on August 25, 2022. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on May 7, 1953, the son of the late John L. and Geraldine Grant.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved children, Sean (Carrie) Grant and Rayna Grant; grandchildren, Sean Rillo-Grant, William "T.J." Jaques and Shelby Jaques; great grandchildren, Levi and Teagan; brother, Timothy (Rachael) Grant; niece and nephew, John Ross Grant and Amanda (Josh) Combs; former wives, Nena Grant and Shanda Grant; and many other loving family and friends.

He was a DJ/Karaoke Entertainer for over 20 years. He was a member of the AmVets, VFW, American Legion and the Moose Lodge for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, catfishing, hunting and spending time with his friends and family. Ronnie had the gift of gab and never knew a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-4:00pm, on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to the funeral home on the family's behalf.
