Ronald L. Vorhis

April 6, 1940 — July 22, 2022

Ronald L. Vorhis, 82, of Kettering, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. He was born April 6, 1940, in Dayton to the late Robert Vorhis and Golden Couch.

He graduated from Miamisburg High School 1958. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in The United States Marine Corp. for five years.

He continued his education at Wright State University earning a Bachelor's Degree, and later University of Dayton where he earned a Master's Degree in finance. He worked as a cost analyst at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 30 years, retiring in 1994. He continued as a contractor for MTC for an additional 10 years. He was a loving husband, and devoted father and grandfather. We will remember him for his generosity, cheering loudly at the grandkid's sporting events, and his sense of humor.

He leaves behind a family that will cherish his memory, including his daughter, Jennifer (Jerret) Stone; grandchildren, Gabriel, Logan, and Piper Stone. He is also survived by his close friend, Mike Enright and his lunch crew from Wright-Patt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Bonnie Vorhis; his brothers, Barry Couch, Kimloe Couch, and William Vorhis.
