Ronald Lee Van De Sandt

Ronald Lee Vandesandt, age 67 of Xenia , passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Harmony Center for Rehabilitation and Therapy. He was born November 30, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Glenn and Fleta Vandesandt.

He is preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Barbara Vandesandt.

Ronald was a veteran of the US Air Force. Ron was an artistic painter and a karate instructor achieving his 3rd degree black belt. He loved to go target shooting at various gun ranges in the area.

Ronald is survived by his daughters, Charity Cypher and Brianna McDoughna; brothers, Robert (Diane) Vandesandt, Michael Vandesandt and William Vandesandt; sisters, Sharon Traywick, Penny Johnson, Linda Christman and Karen Stacy; grandchild Adrian McDoughna. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on March 5, 2020 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be March 5, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
