Ronald Stamer, Sr.

Ronald D. Stamer, Sr., age 68 of Riverside, passed away April 1, 2012. He was born April 8, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late August and Marie Stamer.
Ron is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jo Stamer; children: Nancy Stamer, Dawn Sievering and Ron Stamer, Jr.; grandchildren: Chris Sievering, David Stamer, William Stamer, Sarah Stamer and Patrick Stamer; brother, Mike (Patricia); and sister, Dianne (Aaron) Baker.
Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having retired after 20 years of service to his country. He was a member of the American Legion in Fairborn.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the WPAFB Chapel 3, Building 6568, Wright Field, 682 Chapel Lane, WPAFB, OH 45433, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 11:30 – 1:30. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
