Ronald E. Sherwood "Ron"

Ronald E. Sherwood “Ron”, age 73 of Kettering, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024. He was born Friday, April 13, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Donald and IvaLou Miller.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Donald Sherwood; step-father, Tom Miller; and sister, Pamela Miller. 

Ron is survived by his children, Alisha Sherwood (Lauryn Barnett), Carrie (Rashad) Clay, Jamie (Corey) Smith, and Jennifer Thomas; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Herman Roche. He is also survived by many family and friends.

Ron was a proud Navy veteran and an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds fan. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and Indy car racing. Ron was a lead singer in two bands, Cobra and Otis Money. The most important thing to Ron was his family and spending quality time camping or attending races at Kilkare. He is well loved and will be deeply missed.
