August 26, 1952 — October 10, 2015

Ronald (Ron) S. Rosenthal, 63, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on October 10, 2015. He was born on August 26, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph Z. Rosenthal, deceased, and Marjorie (nee Ganz) Marshall of Tucson, AZ.

Ron was a graduate of San Diego State University, Embry-Riddle University, and Air War College. Ron retired from government civilian service in 2012, having worked for the United States Air Force as a logistician for over 30 years. His work involved preparing and defending budgets for, and tracking the worldwide supply status of, the Air Force reparable spares inventory ($2B annually). After retirement, Ron worked for Bering Straits, a small business working on designing the next generation Air Force supply chain management information system. He also enjoyed helping small business owners, family members, friends, and others with operating their personal computers.

Ron is survived by wife, Adrienne Rexroad; his mother, Marj Marshall; his stepfather, Gene Marshall; children, Karen Doiron, Theresa Rosenthal, Daniel Rosenthal, Ian Rexroad, and Isaac Rosenthal; siblings, Bill Rosenthal, Mitch Pearson, and Nancy Pearson; granddaughter, Brooklynn Rosenthal-Sullivan; niece, Brittany Pearson, and nephew, Dimitri Pearson. Ron also had an extended family of friends, colleagues, and customers.

Ron will always be remembered for being a loyal San Diego Chargers fan, and for his computer repair and auto repair skills, including his love for resuscitating PCs and lawn mowers. He was a devoted father, husband, son, and brother. All will greatly miss Ron's comradery, sense of humor, and love of service to others. Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the funeral home with burial following at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek.
