Ronald "Ronnie" Antrican, age 71, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning. He was born in Powder Springs, TN but was a resident of Dayton, OH for the past 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Retha Capps and Samuel Antrican; daughter, Rhonda Hughes; sister, Patsy Shelton; brother, Cecil Antrican; and children's mother, Sherry Jo Barlowe.
He is survived by daughters, Stephanie (Tommy) Caudill of Clearwater FL, Lisa (Tony) Antrican of Dayton, Danielle (Steven) Rose-Catlett of Norfolk VA; sons, Richard Antrican of GA, Brian Antrican of GA, John (Brandy) Dapice; grandchildren, Damon, Shannan, Dylan, Donavan, Devin, Amanda, Hailee, Anthony, Brayden; brothers, Alan (Kathy) Antrican, Jerry Antrican, Dennis Antrican all of Knoxville TN, Ellis (Gladys) Antrican of Maryland; sister, Prisclla Price of Powell TN; ex-wives, Beverly Abrams of Northridge, Mary Jo Harris of Dayton; special friends, Janice Werner, Danny Shockey, Hope Barber, Joe Joe Hammons, Ralph Jones, Nikki Cropper, Carla Farmer.
Ronnie was a very respected resident and business owner of the Dayton area who gave a lot back to the community. He loved the Cleveland Browns and NASCAR on Sundays.
The family will be having a fundraiser Saturday at Connells Bar. All are welcome. He also was a retired Roofers Union local 75 member.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 2 – 5pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd. where funeral service will follow at 5pm.
Burial will be at the Antrican Cemetery in Hancock County TN on Monday, May 23rd at 3pm.
