PENNINGTON, Ronald E. "Ron", age 59 of Riverside, lost his battle with heart disease and cancer Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Hospice of Dayton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Oleta Pennington; brother, Grady Pennington, and mother - in- law, Flora Koon.
He is survived by his loving wife, Denise; sons, Chris (Sarah) Pennington of Huber Heights, Matthew (Cassie) Pennington stationed in Ft. Drum, New York, and J.C. Pennington of Riverside, Gary Miles of Dayton, TN; sister, Wauenda (Eddie) Burns of West Virginia; brother, Earl Pennington of Florida; father-in-law, David (Judy) Koon of Tipp City; grandchildren, Tracey, KayKay, Zoe, Leland, and Cayden; and by numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends, and co-workers.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Papaw, and friend. Ron was a graduate of Northridge High School class of '69 and was a manager of Kroger for many years.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the PNC Bank – Ron Pennington Memorial Fund.
