Ronald G. Pate, 68, of Xenia, Ohio, passed quietly away Friday, July 15, 2016 in Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Bloomington, Indiana to Paul and Ruth Pate Allen.
He was a member of the American Legion and VFW Post #2402 in Xenia. Ronald was stationed in Hawaii while serving in the U.S. Army.
His interests included playing the guitar and watching NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Pate; wife, Michele Pate (McIntosh), and grandparents, Thomas Pate, Edith Hillenburg, Delmar and Edna Koontz.
Ronald is survived by his sons, Robin (wife Kim) Pate of Grand Prairie, TX, Troy (wife Kim) Pate of Largo, FL, and Brian Pate of Xenia; sisters, Carol (husband Greg) Ridge of Xenia and Tami (husband Hart) Boesel of Bloomington, IN; 3 grandchildren, Amber (husband Duncan) McGeachy, Ashley Pate, and Alyssa Pate; 3 great grandchildren, Mya, Jacob, and Isabella.
He was loved and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Memorial services will be private.
