NORDYKE, Ronald L.
A great and loving man went home to be with the Lord after a hard year of fighting three different illnesses, but lost his fight with the third one. And passed away at age 66 on December 28, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilber and Mary Artz; sister, Doris Williams; and brother, Jacob "Dale" Frederick.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Woods-Nordyke; children by former wife, Mary (Joe) Disantis and Ronald (Melissa) Nordyke, Jr.; siblings, Charles Frederick, Vicki Newsome, and Cheryl Rena Kiser; grandchildren, Jason, Jamie, Jasmine, Janae, Joey, Jaiden, Joelton, Kali, Odyssey, Ronald, and Makenzie; 2 great-grandchildren, Mariah and Jenesis; step-children, Jeremy Woods, Joshua Woods, and Jessica Woods-Knight; step-grandchildren, Devin, Logan, Riley, Collins, Evan, and Aiden; and former wife, Jane Nordyke.
Ronald retired from GM Truck and Bus in Moraine and worked part time for Engle One also in Moraine.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 1:00pm until 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. A Funeral service will be held Monday, January 5, 2014 at 10:30 am at the funeral home.
Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
