Ronald Millsap

Ronald Gene Millsap, age 75 of Dayton, passed away Sunday January 30, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center. Was born January 23, 1947 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Roy and Treva Millsap.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his nine brothers and sisters and his mother and father in law Doyle and Virginia (Jenny) Roberson.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandra Millsap; daughters Carrie (Tim) Priest & Ronne Sue Millsap; grandchildren Cheyenne Millsap, Amy and Luke Priest; sister in law Carol (Kenny) Partin and numerous nieces and nephews.

He worked for NCR for over 30 years as a plumber progressing his career to facility manager. He was the first male Girl Scout leader in the Miami Valley area where he was the leader of Ronne Sue's girl scout troop. He was a baseball and T-Ball coach at Cleveland park and through the fellow coaches he met he began coaching football with East Dayton Vikings program and basketball at the Dayton Boys and Girls Club.

He was always a phone call away for his family and loved ones to give a listening ear or a helping hand.

He enjoyed the family's Sunday dinner's with his mother in-law, wife, daughters and grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Officiated by Dan Clouse. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at 4 PM until the time of service. Ronald will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
