McKNIGHT, Ronald L. age 59, passed away Friday, October 10, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. He worked at SuperValu in Xenia for 23 years. He was also a devoted Nascar fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret McKnight; granddaughter, Mercedes Carter; brothers, Jr. and John McKnight; sisters, Helen Smith, Carol Barry, and Judy Crowson; father-in-law, Orlan Adams. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sharon; children, Heather and husband Jason Evans of Xenia, OH, Lisa McKnight of Duluth, GA; granddaughter (his bright light), Blaire Evans; mother-in-law, Delma and husband Gobel Moore of Fairborn, OH; siblings, James (Bus) and wife Ginger McKnight of Dayton, OH, Jack and his wife Jan McKnight of Crystal Lake, OH, Robert and his wife Martha McKnight of Medway, OH, Betty and her husband Dick Fearn of Clearwater, FL, and Joanne Johnson of Dayton, OH; sister-in-law, Mabel McKnight of Xenia, OH; brother-in-law, Jeff and wife Cheryl Adams of Fairborn, OH; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 1068 of Fairborn. Visitation will be 5-8PM Monday, October 13, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek. Funeral services will be 10AM Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn.
