Ronald E. Martin

Ronald E. Martin Sr., age 70, of Medway, Ohio passed away on December 8, 2023. He was born in Bloomington, Indiana on October 30, 1953 to the late Lester Sr. and Lena Martin. In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his adopted son, Freddie Dittoe and siblings, Diana Hayes and John Martin.

Ron is survived by his ex-wife and companion of 38 years, Julie Waters; children, Ron Martin Jr., Stacy Martin; grandchildren, Izabella Martin, Andrew Martin; siblings, Tom Martin, Fred Martin, Doug Martin, Lester Martin Jr. and Kay Martin; as well as many other family and friends.

Ron worked as a carpenter throughout his life. He was known for cooking and making his secret blue cheese dressing. Ron enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening and just being outdoors. He loved animals in general, especially his dogs, Myla-Kay and Maggie May. Over the years, Ron was highly involved in the Sertoma Club and the Loyal Order of Moose. He was dedicated to his community and helping others in need. Ron will be forever loved and dearly missed by his family and friends.
