Ronald L. Artz
Age 58, of New Carlisle, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 20, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton, after an extended battle with heart disease. He was born December 4, 1948 in Dayton to Clarence & Jean (Clark) Artz.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of the past 34 years, Janet K. Artz; one daughter, Christy & Bill Veelman; one son, Dustin Artz and his son, Wade Artz; one brother, Don & Julie Artz; and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.

Ron was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in New Carlisle and owner of the Artz Barber Shop in Huber Heights. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his joyful and gentle spirit despite his many years of illness. He was loved and admired by all and will be greatly missed.

The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Crossroads Baptist Church, 9903 West National Road, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344. Funeral services will be held at the church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with Pastor R. C. McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions should be made in memory of Ron to the Crossroads Baptist Church. These contributions will be used to fund the distribution of translated Bibles to tribes in Indonesia.
