Ronald I. Haller "Ron", age 71 of Miamisburg, passed away January 18, 2020. He was born February 5, 1948 in Middletown, OH to the late Ivan and Mary (Hall) Haller. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Phillabuam.
He is survived by his fiancé, Joyce Schwaberow; sister, Sharon Dean; brother, Jerry Haller; special uncle and aunt, Steve and Mable Hall; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Ron proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1966-1970, having been deployed into the Vietnam War. He loved woodworking, doing research on genealogy and spending time with his friends at the VFW #7596 in Franklin, OH.
A memorial service will begin at 11 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459 with Rev. William "Doug" Bottles officiating. Military Honors will conclude the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Vietnam Veterans of America (www.vva.org), in Ron's memory.
