SAUERBRUN, RONALD E. "RED DOG"
Ron's life was a storybook, full of twists and turns, excitement, and drama mixed in with a man who loved life and sharing it with his family and friends. His journey led him to his final battle…..Parkinson's disease. At age 78, on March 30, 2015, Ron went to rest peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents: Mary Louise and Harold; and sister, Barbara Sauerbrun. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne of 21 years; daughter, Mary Katherine Sauerbrun; sisters: Ginger Benner, Patty Hussong, Beverly Cummings, and Janie McGriff; brother, Bob Sauerbrun; step-children: Connie, Bridget, Jackie, Jeff, Niki, and Greg; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; life-long friends: Ron Ladd, Joe Alles, Bill Hunter, and many, many friends. He will be missed by all.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30-1:30 pm.
