Ronald Eugene Allison
Age 53, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carshall & Rachael Johnson and Charles & Firm Allison; two special friends, Harry McClusky and Frank Fyke.

Ron is survived by his parents, Roger D. & Betty J. (Johnson) Allison; two sons, Ron (Chrissie) Allison and Philip (Brandy) Allison; five grandchildren that he dearly loved, Tabitha, Elizabeth, Tyler, Kaidlyn & Zeryk; one brother, Roger (Linda) Allison; two sisters, Belinda (Rick) Orrill and Beth (Jeff) Bicknell; one niece, Christina; five nephews, Josh, Bill, Nick, Ben & Paul; and by three special friends, Francis Wells, Samantha Verner & Russell Honius; his beloved dog, Max; and by his extended family & many good friends.

Ron lived life "large" and was happiest when he was fishing, spending time with family & friends and enjoyed watching sports & Pro Wrestling (which he believed to be real).

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses & staff of Good Samaritan Hospital ICU for the wonderful care they provided to Ron over the past 14 weeks, especially Doctors Decasteker, Hornback, Gans, Woo, Goyal, Oxman, Amoula, Wunderlich, Siddiqui, Gem City Surgeons and the Dayton Cardiac Associates.

A joyful celebration of Ron's life will be held at 12:07 p.m., Tuesday, February 8 at the New Lebanon Assembly of God Church, 1574 West Main Street, New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. Phone: 937-687-1795. Friends will be greeted following the celebration. The family requests that those attending dress casual as Ron would have wanted and please feel free to bring your special stories and photos to share during the service.
